Grey Bruce home prices are down, while supply has increased.
According to the MLS Home Price Index, the overall composite benchmark price was $530,700 in January 2023, a decrease of 8.3 per cent compared to January 2022. Meantime, the average price of homes sold in January 2023 was down 25.7 per cent year-over-year to $560,716.
The 251 new residential listings added in January was the most in over five years and an increase of 19.5 per cent from January 2022. There were 751 active listings in January, which is 44.8 per cent above the five-year average
The Realtors Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound reported the number of residential sales in Grey Bruce Owen Sound in January plummeted 33.9 per cent from January of 2022. MLS sales for the month were 18.5 per cent below the five year average
