Wellington North resident facing assault charge after domestic disturbance

OPP have charged a 32-year-old with assault, in connection with a domestic disturbance in Wellington North last week.

On March 30, around 11:15 p.m., Wellington County OPP responded to a disturbance at a residence, where it was reported that one person had been assaulted by someone known to them.

The victim had suffered minor injuries.

Police say the name of the accused has been withheld to protect the identity of the victim.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph in May.
