Break-in theft from home under investigation by police

Perth County OPP are investigating after a home was broken into and items were stolen.

On March 31, officers responded to a report of a break-and-enter theft at a residence on Perth Line 56 in the Township of Perth East. Investigators determined that unknown suspects came to the residence in a Chevrolet Silverado and forced their way into the home. Once inside, numerous items were taken. The value of the stolen items and the damage caused during the break-in is $10,000.

Police are asking anyone who may have any information regarding this crime to immediately contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
