GBPH seeks dog that bit woman in Markdale

Grey Bruce Public Health is hoping the owner of a dog involved in a Markdale biting incident will come forward.

The medium sized black dog was walking off-leash with a man on a trail on Sunday evening, when it bit a woman who was walking another dog.

The Health Unit wants to confirm the dog's rabies status to determine whether the victim needs post-exposure rabies treatment.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Grey Bruce Public Health at 519-376-9420 ext. 1518.
