Load restrictions lifted in Georgian Bluffs

As of May 1, all load restrictions have been lifted on municipal roads in Georgian Bluffs.

Load restrictions are put in place by many municipalities and counties every spring, when roads become weakened by excess water, which can then cause damage when heavy vehicles drive over them. Weight restrictions are put in place to protect roads and mitigate damage during winter thaw and the early rain in spring.

The Township of Georgian Bluffs have confirmed all load restrictions are now lifted.
