Four teens arrested in relation to vandalism investigation

Four teenagers have been arrested in relation to a vandalism investigation in Mitchell.

Perth County OPP were called to an address on Wellington Road. Police said following an investigation, it was determined that four teens spray painted a shed.

Three 14-year olds and one 15-year old have been charged with mischief under $5,000.

In another unrelated incident, police received another vandalism report on Wellington Road near the wetlands in Mitchell.

An unknown person(s) spray painted a new municipality sign.

Police are reminding the public that graffiti is a criminal offence. It can result in a maximum of two years in jail, if convicted.

Graffiti is defined as any writing, drawing, or symbols applied to any surface without the property owner's permission.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
