Mount Forest water restrictions in effect Wednesday

North Wellington is asking residents to conserve water this summer, with rehabilitation work set to start on the Mount Forest Standpipe.

Beginning on Wednesday, the water tower will be out of service until work is completed later this summer. During that time, they will move to Stage 2 water restrictions.

The township asks that you limit unnecessary usage to reduce the demand on the water system during this time.

Similar to previous years, homes with even house numbers are permitted outdoor water usage on even calendar days and homes while odd house numbers can use on odd calendar days.

All outdoor usage must take place between the hours of 6 and 9 a.m. and 7 and 10 p.m. No one is allowed to irrigate during a rainfall.
