One dead in two-vehicle collision along Bruce Road 3

One person has been pronounced dead after a serious two-vehicle collision south of Paisley on Saturday night.

Emergency services responded to a call around 7:40 p.m. along Bruce County Road 3 in Brant Township.

A total of eight people were involved in the collision. One was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity is being with held pending next of kin notification.

Another person has been airlifted to London hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The remaining six are being assessed at local hospitals.

South Bruce OPP have closed Bruce County Road 3 between Chepstow Road and Cargill Road for investigation. Motorists are asked to avoid the area. Updates will be provided as they become available.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
