Local poll stations ready for community referendum on healthcare

Polling stations will be set up across Grey Bruce next weekend for the Ontario Health Coalition’s referendum on healthcare.

The citizen-run vote asks whether residents are in favour of healthcare privatization, in response to the Ford government passing Bill 60, the Your Health Act.

Voting will be set up in Owen Sound, Kincardine, Walkerton, Port Elgin, Southampton and Sauble Beach, among other communities.

Citizens can vote online or in-person May 26 and 27.
