Man accused of indecent exposure, voyeurism of minor in Owen Sound

Charges have been laid against a man accused of entering a change room and exposing himself to minors during an incident in Owen Sound earlier this spring.

According to Owen Sound police, officers received a complaint back in April about a suspicious man in a changing room at an unnamed facility. Police were told that the man entered a youth change room, exposed his genitals to minors under 16, and committed voyeurism.

On Friday, a 52-year-old man from Dunnville was arrested by police and charged with indecent exposure to a person under 16 and voyeurism.

The accused was held in custody for a court hearing and was later released. He is scheduled to appear in an Owen Sound court on July 6.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
