Township installs four new EV chargers

The Township of Mapleton has installed new electric vehicle chargers.

The four new chargers are spread out across the municipality, and are all Level 2 EV chargers.

These charging stations will charge $1 per hour of charging and are easily accessible using the FLO app found on any smartphone.

The charging stations can be found at the Alma Community Centre, Maryborough Community Centre, Moorefield Municipal Administrative Office and the Drayton PMD Arena.

“Here in Mapleton, we are embracing the future of transportation and delivering on our climate goals. Through a partnership with FLO, residents and visitors now have four new electric vehicle charging station locations available in Mapleton to top up their vehicle," stated Mapleton Mayor Gregg Davidson.
