Stratford Police seek surveillance footage to help solve B&E

Stratford Police are seeking the public’s help solving a break and enter along Brunswick Street that took place Tuesday morning.

Police say the homeowner was awoken by noises around 4:45 a.m. on June 13. They contacted authorities but by the time officers arrived, the suspect had fled the area.

Police have no description of the suspect at this time. They also say it’s unclear if anything was taken from the home, but note items had been moved and thrown around.

Anyone with surveillance footage of Brunswick Street between Nile and Front Streets on the night in question is asked to contact police at 519-271-4141. If you wish to remain anonymous, report to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
