Charity BBQ and Plane, Car, and Bike Show returns to Wingham Airport

The CPR7/Wingham Airport is bringing back the charity BBQ and Plane, Car, and Bike Show in support of the Independent Motorcycle Club. The club is raising money for local school breakfast club programs.

"I hope people will see the airport as a community asset and have a good time," said Tyler Papple, owner of the airport and Papple Aviation. "Look forward to good food, as well as seeing classic cars and bikes. Hopefully we have a good turnout of planes flying in."

The event ran in 2022 and the Independent Motorcycle Club and the airport are collaborating not only for a good cause, but to bring more fun to the CPR7.

"We're trying to work together to get more events, more stuff happening at the airport and make it a good venue to benefit the community," Papple said.

The fundraiser is on June 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Papple Aviation will be on site offering scenic plane tours during and after the event. That can be booked on their website.
