Another local emergency department to temporarily close

Another local emergency department will temporarily close due to staffing issues.

The Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest will close its emergency department at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, and will re-open at 7 a.m. on Friday, July 7.

The closure is due to staffing challenges. Patients are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency. Emergency Medical Services will remain available to the community.
