Air Ambulance responds to Bruce County crash

An air ambulance was called to airlift a motorist from the scene of a collision in Arran Township.

South Bruce OPP received a report of a two-vehicle collision along Bruce County Road 5 on July 12 at 7:29 a.m

Officers, firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to find a commercial motor vehicle and a sport utility vehicle involved in the crash.

The driver of the sport utility vehicle was air lifted to a London hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The driver of the commercial motor vehicle reported no injuries at the scene.

Bruce County Road 5 was closed around the scene for the protection of emergency responders. It has since re-opened to traffic.

The investigation is continuing. Updates will be provided as they become available.
