Grey County updates corporate strategy

Residents are being asked to list their top goals for the upcoming four years as Grey County updates its multi-year corporate strategic plan. Online polls for the general public are now accessible at grey.ca/strat-plan. The survey will end on July 31 and all replies will be kept private.

A strategic plan aids Grey County in establishing objectives that direct operational budgeting and planning. In order to make sure that these objectives meet community requirements, it is crucial to obtain public input at this stage of the process.

More than 100,000 people call Grey County home, together with dozens of companies and millions of tourists each year. Some of these functions, such building and maintaining roads or planning for land use, are comparable to those offered at the municipal level locally.

But the majority of county services focus on providing essential support for vulnerable people in the community such as social housing, paramedic services and long-term care homes.
