The Grey Bruce Health Services Owen Sound Hospital's emergency room will be renovated beginning on July 18, 2023.
Services will be kept running, although there won't be much waiting room space. Accessibility issues will arise, and patients will have access to alternative entrances for the duration of the reconstruction.
GBHS said family members could be required to wait outside the department due to space restrictions. The renovation will go on until the end of September.
The Owen Sound Emergency Department is open every day of the week, round-the-clock.
