County hands out Cultivating Opportunity Grants

Perth County has distributed their latest round of Cultivating Opportunity Grants.

Every year, the county awards Cultivating Opportunity Grants to local organizations to help support their goals and initiatives or programming.

Warden Rhonda Ehogetz recently travelled around to deliver the grants and congratulate the recipients, including the Perth County Transition Home for Women, the Perth County 4H Association, the North Perth Seniors Centre and the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford.

Each organization received $2,500, which is the maximum grant amount, to go toward their projects.

The Cultivating Opportunity Grant Program accepts new applications annually. The application period will open on September 1st, 2023. The 2023 information package is now available online and organizations are encouraged to review in advance of applying.
