Driver charged with assault stemming from 'road rage'

A 46-year-old driver is facing charges after a road rage incident in South Bruce Peninsula.

Grey Bruce OPP responded to a report of an assault on Berford Street around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say once they arrived on scene, they determined that a road rage incident resulted in one of the involved drivers assaulting the other.

As a result, a 46-year-old from South Bruce Peninsula faces charges of assault, assault with a weapon, dangerous operation and failure to stop after accident.

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in Owen Sound court next month.
