Break-in theft to downtown business under investigation

A recent break-and-enter theft from a local business is under investigation.

Perth County OPP responded on August 30 to a report of a break-in at a Main Street East business in Listowel.

Sometime overnight between August 29 and 30, unknown suspects broke into the business and stole two laptops. estimated at approximately $1600.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
