Annual shredding event being held by Crime Stoppers

An annual shredding event is being held once again by Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 16 from 9 a.m. until noon in Mount Forest at the local fire department, located at 381 Main Street North.

Mobile shredding services will be provided by Wasteco, and everyone can bring down any papers that need to be disposed of at $10 per box. All proceeds go to Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington.

Crime Stoppers assist police by providing an anonymous tip service where anyone can provide information regarding crimes without having to provide their identity.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
