Driver succumbs to injuries in crash near Palmerston

Wellington OPP confirmed on September 12 that the driver has died as a result from their injuries in a serious collision near Palmerston.

Emergency services responded to the incident around 6:15 a.m. on September 7. Police said initial reports show a red minivan hit a tree.

The driver and lone occupant in the van was taken by ambulance to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Wellington Road 123 was shut down between Wellington Road 109 and Perth Line 92, but reopened early that afternoon.

Wellington County OPP is requesting any witnesses call the detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
