One person charged following vandalized speed devide

The Wellington County OPP have charged one person following a recent mischief incident.

On September 18, police received a report of mischief in Palmerston. Investigators determined that sometime during the previous night, a radar speed detection device was damaged on King Street in Palmerston.

Following an investigation, police arrested and charged a 38-year-old Palmerston resident with mischief over $5,000 and with possess break-in instruments.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on October 24.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
