Annual Handbags for Hospice event coming up

Huron Shores Hospice is getting ready to host the seventh Hospice for Handbags event.

This year's event will be held on Thursday, September 21 at 6 p.m. at the Kincardine Pavilion on Durham Street.

The event brings over 170 men and women together for a mass fundraiser, which will start with a silent auction this year with over 100 high-end handbags on offer. A short program will begin at 6:50 p.m. with the live auction taking place at 7:25 p.m. featuring Layne the Auctionista!

All funds raised help support Huron Shores Hospice, which offers free end-of-life care to residents of Saugeen Shores, Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss and surrounding areas. The hospice is located at Tiverton Park Manor.
