Charges laid following dog attack

The Grey Bruce OPP have charged a dog owner following a recent attack.

On September 17 at 4:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of an uncontrolled dog complaint on Pashwood Drive, Saugeen First Nation. 

Following an investigation, police charged a 29-year-old from Saugeen First Nation under the Dog Owner Liability Act after the dog owner failed to prevent their dog from biting or attacking a person or domestic animal.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Provincial Offences Court in Owen Sound on October 25.
