Owen Sound seeks volunteers for Strategic Plan committee

There is still one week left to apply to join the recently created Strategic Planning Ad Hoc Committee for Owen Sound.

Members of the public will have the chance to grow as leaders, network, and contribute to the creation of the long-term vision for the City of Owen Sound by serving on the committee.

One of the most important community resources, in the eyes of the City of Owen Sound, is volunteers. People who want to help can give the Deputy Clerk an application. Applications can be found on the city's website at OwenSound.ca/CommitteeVacancies or at the Service Owen Sound counter in City Hall. People need to apply by Friday, October 6.

There are seven vacancies on the Strategic Planning Ad Hoc Committee with a term to begin November 7, and expiring when the Strategic Plan 2050 is approved by Council.

A description of the Strategic Planning Ad Hoc Committee and information on the appointment process can be viewed on the city’s website once again at OwenSound.ca/CommitteeVacancies.
