Police investigating crash involving cyclist

South Bruce OPP are still investigating a recent crash involving a cyclist.

On October 3 at 5:50 a.m., officers responded alongside Bruce County EMS to a reported crash near the intersection of Bruce County Road 28 and Concession 4 in Carrick Township that involved someone on a bike.

A pick-up truck was involved in the crash with the cyclist, who was airlifted to London for treatment of serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The pick-up truck driver reported no injuries at the scene.

Bruce County Road 28 was closed for a lengthy period before eventually reopening to traffic. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
