County to close parts of local roads for repairs

Bruce County will soon be closing parts of some local roads for repairs and upgrades.

Starting Wednesday, October 11, Bruce County says work will commence along Bruce Road 29, including bridge rehabilitation work on Isthmus Bay Road, north of Lion’s Head.

Traffic control measures will be in place as the work goes on. Work is expected to end in late November.

Signage will be in place during these road closures. Users are asked to be patient and drive safely as the Contractor works to complete crucial bridge rehabilitation, road work, and storm sewer installation.
