OPP looking to identify 'persons of interest' in $234K copper theft

Wellington OPP are looking for the public's help identifying two persons of interest in an investigation of a theft that occurred in the summer.

On August 6 just before 10 p.m., police said a white sprinter van and a white cube van were seen going on a property on Elora Street North in Clifford.

Three unknown suspects loaded items into the vans and left. Approximately $234,000 of copper wire was stolen.

The Wellington County OPP are asking anyone who can identify the people in the photo above, or who has helpful information to call at 1-888-310-1122 or contact Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
