City to hold community town hall session

A community town hall will be held in Owen Sound on October 30.

The Owen Sound Chamber of Commerce and the city are hosting the event. Members of the public can come and find out information and ask questions about a number of different topics.

Those include Canadian Mental Health Association mental health training, the Owen Sound City Manager's report a concern digital program and a presentation from the Owen Sound Police Chief, Craig Ambrose, as well as other topics of interest.

The goal of the town hall gathering is to inform the public and gather feedback on strategies and next steps to help create a more inclusive and safe Owen Sound.

The community town hall will be held at the Bayshore Community Centre from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Monday, October 30.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
