Bruce County promotes Dress Purple Day

Bruce County is encouraging everyone to join in the Dress Purple Day Campaign.

Bruce Grey Child and Family Services and Children’s Aid Societies want people to wear the color purple on Friday, October 27.

Bruce County staff are trying to raise awareness about the important role that individuals and communities play in supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families.

People can get involved and share a photo or video on social media, using the hashtag #DressPurpleDay2023.

“Bruce County’s Human Services Department shares in the mandate to support vulnerable children, youth, and families in our community,” added Tina Metcalfe, Bruce County’s Director of Human Services. “We want all children, youth, and families to know that help is available no matter the challenge they are facing. Please join us in bringing awareness to this important initiative.”
