Shooting victim charged with attempted murder

Huron County OPP have charged the 35-year-old suspect who was shot by police in last week's chase through Seaforth and Clinton.

Josh Breau from Central Huron has been charged with attempt to commit murder, as well as several counts of possession of stolen property.

Breau was dropped off at Clinton Hospital last Wednesday with a gunshot wound after an exchange with police that began in Seaforth. The incident is being looked at by the Special Investigations Unit.

The other suspect, Kayla Frayer, remains at large. OPP say they believe she may have sustained injuries after colliding with another vehicle while evading police.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact police at (519) 482-1677.
