Charges laid following search warrant execution

Grey Bruce OPP have laid numerous charges following the execution of a search warrant in Chatsworth.

On October 16, officers were informed that a skid steer was stolen, and the location on the installed GPS system of the skid steer was pinging at a location near Holland Centre in Chatsworth Township.

Police executed a search warrant at the property, where they seized stolen property including the skid steer, a dump trailer, as well as other various trailers and licence plates which totalled in excess of $147,000.

As a result, a 50-year-old and 67-year-old, both from Chatsworth Township, are facing numerous charges including possession of property obtained by crime over and under $5,000.

Both of the accused will be appearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on November 23.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
