OPP lay alcohol offenses against ATV driver

Huron County OPP are reminding people that it's not just cars and trucks that you are not allowed to drive while impaired.

Police say impaired driving charges have been laid against an ATV driver from Goderich.

On October 6, just after 8:30 p.m. on Suncoast Drive, police say they saw two ATVs leave a business on Huron Road and head westbound.

Officers stopped the vehicle and one of the drivers allegedly fled, while the other stopped.

After speaking with the driver, a roadside screening test was taken and resulted in a failure.

A 38-year-old from Goderich is charged with impaired driving.
