Power outage planned for Kincardine this weekend

Kincardine residents will be without power on Sunday morning due to a planned outage.

Westario Power announced Thursday that the outage is necessary to complete upgrades to the local distribution system.

The company says all customers impacted by the outage will receive a notification at the contact number on file.

The outage is planned to run from 7 a.m. until noon, but power may be restored earlier if work is completed ahead of projected timelines.

The Municipality of Kincardine says the outage will impact some Davidson Centre programming that day, but the facility will remain open.
