Local hospice kicking off end of year campaign on Giving Tuesday

Huron Shores Hospice is kicking off their end of year fundraising campaign on Giving Tuesday.

This year, Giving Tuesday falls on November 28, and the day is a global day of generosity to celebrate our humanity. The day was started as the "antidote" to the commercialism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

People can donate to the hospice on that day, and Bruce Power has very generously offered to match the first $3,000 raised, dollar-for-dollar.

Huron Shores Hospice is a charitable not-for-profit, volunteer-driven, community-funded residential hospice, providing free quality end-of-life care, at no cost, to residents of Saugeen Shores, Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss and surrounding areas.

For information, visit the Huron Shores Hospice website at www.huronshoreshospice.ca. Or contact us at info@huronshoreshospice.ca.
