Charity hockey game raises money for local toy drive

Some local police and firefighters put down their cuffs and hoses to square off on the ice for a great cause.

The Grey Bruce OPP took on the South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department in a recent charity match at the Wiarton Arena & Community Centre.

Both teams put on a great show, but the firefighters snuck away with a 5-4 win over the OPP. The game raised over $730 for the Bruce Peninsula Minor Hockey and the South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department toy drive.
