Theft from construction site being investigated by police

A theft from a construction site in Perth East is being looked into by police.

Perth County OPP were contacted on November 10 about a break and enter to a construction site in the area of Road 124, in the Township of Perth East. A number of missing items were noted by the on-site crew and reported to the officers.

Police say unknown suspects came to the locked site and gained entry to the area and a trailer. Power tools and custom windows were reported as stolen. The total value of the removed items is estimated to be between $500-$1,000.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have any information to contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
