OPP host successful food drives

The Grey Bruce OPP recently held two successful food drives.

The food drives were held at two locations in South Bruce Peninsula by the Grey Bruce OPP Auxiliary Unit.

On Saturday November 25, the Grey Bruce OPP Auxiliary Unit conducted a food drive at Foodland in Wiarton, resulting in the collection of $822.55 and 1,064 pounds of food.

The Auxiliary Unit was also at Fretz's Value Mart in Sauble Beach the same day, collecting $373.75 and 612 pounds of food. 

The donations will be provided to the local area food bank.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
