Police investigating theft of trailer and tools

The Grey Bruce OPP are investigating the theft of a large trailer full of tools from Grey Highlands.

On December 1 at 10:02 a.m., the OPP investigated the theft of a trailer and other various tools from a property on Grey Road 14 in Grey Highlands.

Investigators believe sometime between November 30 at 7 p.m. and December 1 at 7 a.m., unknown suspects came to the address and stole the trailer and tools.

The trailer is described as a 2015 white streamline 8 x 20' dual axle trailer with Ontario Marker #M9918H attached to it. The trailer was filled with various tools, including cordless drills, power saws, rib saws, nailers, screws and handheld tools. Other items that were on the property that were taken were two welders, welding shields, a steel saw and an impact drill. The value of stolen items is approximately $40,000.

Police are asking anyone who may have any information regarding this theft to contact Grey Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
