Police investigating massive tire and rim theft

Wellington County OPP are investigating a substantial theft of rims and tires from a local business.

Police say over the course of the weekend, from December 1 through to December 4, unknown suspects accessed a secured compound and removed an estimated $130,000 in tires and rims from vehicles.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have had dash cams or security cams in the area, or anyone with any information, should contact Wellington County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Police are also looking to identify the operator of a white cube van that was in the area during the time of the theft.
