Provided by Huron County OPP. A 46-year-old Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh woman is facing charges following a single-vehicle collision north of Goderich last month.
Huron County OPP received reports of the incident on November 10 around 10 p.m.
A vehicle was reported to be in the ditch on Bluewater Highway near Nile Road.
Upon investigation, officers discovered the accused was a prohibited driver and was arrested on scene for impaired operation.
The suspect now faces impaired and prohibited driving charges.
SPS Board Chair Kelly Ash confirmed they are aware of the criminal investigation, but said she couldn't provide much of a comment.
