Stolen tools still under investigation

South Bruce OPP are still investigating a recent tool theft.

On November 27 just before 10 a.m., officers received a theft report from an address along Concession 6 in Elderslie Township.  

Investigators believe that sometime between 1:00 a.m. on November 27, and 5:00 a.m. on November 27, a large quantity of tools were taken from the property.

The list of stolen items includes a Topcon laser level, a Benchmark generator, a Metabo power nailer, a Stihl quick saw, a quantity of Milwaukee tools and a large quantity of Dewalt tools.

The value of the stolen tools is estimated to be $15,000. If anyone has any information, please contact South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
