Police investigating vehicle break-ins in Dundalk

The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is actively investigating a series of vehicle break-ins in Dundalk. On December 5, 2023, the police received two reports concerning incidents in the Fennell Street and Aitchison Street areas.

Preliminary findings indicate that during the early morning hours, unidentified individuals targeted unlocked vehicles parked in driveways. Stolen items included wallets and spare change.

Residents are strongly urged to secure their vehicles and remove any valuables to prevent such incidents. Anyone with information on these thefts is asked to contact Grey Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
