Blood donation events upcoming in Midwestern Ontario

Canadian Blood Services is hosting another handful of blood donation events in the new year.

The Mount Forest Recreation Complex will play host to a blood drive on Tuesday, January 2 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Another set of events will be held at the Owen Sound Legion, first on Wednesday, January 3 from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m., and again on Wednesday, January 31 at the same time.

Finally, Dundalk will host a blood drive on Saturday, January 27 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Highpoint Community School.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
