Temporary closure for Grey Roots Museum to prepare for 20th Anniversary

The Grey Roots Museum & Archives is gearing up for a brief hiatus in the new year, with plans to temporarily close its doors from January 7 to February 9, 2024.

This temporary closure aligns with the museum's preparations for its upcoming 20th-anniversary celebrations.

During the closure period, the museum staff will concentrate on organizing and planning various activities to commemorate the significant milestone. While the facility undergoes this short closure, educational programs and private group tours will remain available for interested participants.

The closure provides an opportunity for the museum to enhance its offerings and prepare for an engaging celebration of two decades of preserving and showcasing local history.
