Farm Toy Sale and Show raising money for great cause

A group of people in North Perth are hosting a Farm Toy Show and Sale to support a great cause.

Organizer Brian Sharpe says the show and sale will take place at the Listowel Ag Hall on Saturday, January 6 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

"All proceeds go to Make-A-Wish Canada. They help kids with all kinds of issues to make a wish come true for them. So it's a farm toy show, so there will be a variety of tractors, farm equipment, some trucks. There will be displays and items for sale on tables, and we will also have a live charity auction at 1 p.m.," Sharpe shared.

Admission is $4 and kids 12 and under get in free with an adult. Sharpe says a number of big sponsors have donated items for the charity auction.

"So it's all donated items and all the proceeds again go to Make-A-Wish. A few of the sponsors that have donated items include Premier Equipment, John Deere, Equipment Ontario, Case International, Shantz Farm Equipment, Massey-Ferguson, GJ's Harvest Centre, Claas Equipment and Maple Lane Farm Service, to name a few," added Sharpe.
