Two injured in buggy and semi collision outside of Wingham

Two people from Howick were injured in a collision between a semi-truck and a horse and buggy just north of Wingham on Tuesday.

According Huron County OPP, the incident occurred at London Road and Bok Line.

The buggy occupants, aged 20 and 46 received minor injuries and were transported by EMS to local hospital.

Two horses were inspected at the scene and police say they're okay. The buggy also received "minimal damage."

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
