Speed reductions and sign changes start in 2024

The New Year means new speed limits within Huron East.

The Municipality announced last week that several roadways will have their speed limits reduced to 60 km/h starting January 1.

That includes Front Road between Hensall Road and MacPherson Avenue, as well as Front Road between Huron Road and 5th Avenue in Vanastra.

Speeds will also be reduced along Krauter Line.

Rural Yield signs will also be replaced with stop signs this year. Replacement will begin in the northern limits of Grey Township, and move south through McKillop and Tuckersmith Townships respectively.
