UPDATE: Crash involving school bus being investigated, road reopens

Wellington County OPP are investigating after a collision involving a school bus.

On January 11 at 8:15 a.m., police responded alongside Wellington North Fire Service and Guelph Wellington Paramedics Service to a reported crash on Wellington Road 16 at Line 10, West Luther.

Police arrived on-scene and found that a black coupe, a white SUV and a school bus with students onboard were involved in the crash.

The lone occupant of the black coupe was transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries. The driver of the SUV was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Neither the driver nor any of the 12 students on the bus were injured.

The road has now reopened. If anyone witnessed this collision contact Wellington County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
